Welcome
The Vuk Vrhovac University Clinic brings together all of the clinical and laboratory based
disciplines in diabetes, endocrinology and metabolism. The original Vuk Vrhovac department
date from 1927.
As well as the teaching of Medical Student courses, the Vuk Vrhovac University Clinic
is both the Reference centre for diabetes and pregnancy in diabetes, as well as the Lions
Centre for the Improvement of the Quality of Life of Persons with Diabetes, having
an active research programme, and international education programmes in the scope of WHO
collaborative centre and Medical Faculty in Zagreb. The ISO 9001:2000 certificate was
issued in 2004.
